“The Minnie”! She’s a 2001, 24ft C class. No frills little rig.
Finally, I sold my house! It took about 5 months longer than I anticipated, but it happened and I’m grateful that a new family will be enjoying it soon. It’s been a time of grieving, waiting and calming down, I guess the universe decided that’s what I needed. You see, I’ve been planning this next part of my life for a long time and this year when my Dad passed, I decided that now is the time to have a grand adventure in this next part of my life.
Nov 17th I close on the house and will drive off in my little Winnebago Minnie. Yes, that’s right, it’s called the Minnie, and so that’s her name. My beloved Jack Russell, Minnie who passed prematurely in January will be with us because her name is on the Motorhome on all 4 sides, that’s the way she came.
I’ll head to Santa Fe where my Mom and little Sister live to organize my storage unit and my motorhome. Then in early December head out to the Central Coast of California. No real plans yet, but plan on enjoying that beautiful country for a few weeks or months.
I’ve let go of about 80% of my possessions, including my car (in the next week), so Mick and Romeo and I will be traveling light and will be full timers, which is someone who lives in their RV full time.
I’m fri-cited! It’s frightening and exciting. I’ll be looking for employment with a friendly pet company who will want to use my talents as a dog trainer, salesperson and a mobile traveler.
So, if you are in California, reach out to me, I’d love to come see you. The rest of you, I’ll get there eventually. I’m interested in exploring all of this great country.
So follow me on my Tails from the Road site, Facebook, Twitter account, Instagram, Pinterest. We’ll be posting on all fronts. I’ll be sending out an opt in newsletter in the coming weeks. I want to hear from you too, so keep in touch through these channels.

Leah, Thanks so much for the sweet note. Officially closed on the house this week and threw all last minute stuff into the motorhome. I’m in Santa Fe now at My Mom’s getting it all set up for some serious adventures.
Love the Blog site and your new home. Safe travels and keep in touch. I should have given you some of my dog books to sell on the road. Can’t wait to hear about all your adventures with the boys. Really can’t wait for me and Delilah to join you on the road some day.
