There is a SIGN and GREEN DOGS BOWLS as a locator to find the Take Your Dog Along group. Hope to see you in Q!
All about the Rally!
If you are a Quartzsite newbie, we will give you the lowdown on all you need to know to make your visit in Q the most fun and enjoyable. My first time to visit Quartzsite I was in over whelm mode most of the time. I want to make it easier for you, so you can enjoy meeting people, feel safe and calm with all of the activities going on.
Join our Facebook group to learn our exact location and what we are up to each day.
If you are a seasoned Qer, this group will be different in that dogs are welcome and encourage at all events. The schedule is open and flexible, so attend what you like, skip what you don’t. Come join us for a few days then you can join your other groups before and after.
Quartzsite is all about connections, meeting like minded people. So if you love to RV with your dogs you are going to love this group.

Sunday, January 22, 2017
- Visit the Big Tent RV show. You can bring dogs along to this, but it is very, very busy. So I suggest either using a dog stroller or wagon. We can decide if someone wants to hang back at camp and let dogs out or bring dogs to the event have take turns sitting with them in a spot outside the tent.
- Sunday night – Fireside Dog Chat – wrap up, make a plan on where everyone is going for the next week.
Pre-PetVenture:
Wednesday, January 18th, 2017 The Escapee Club is hosting a Happy Hour between the hours of 1-3. We will leave our dogs behind for this event and head on over to their camp for some fun networking.
Post PetVenture:
Either move to another group or stay put. It’s up to you. Some other fun groups to join could be the Escapee Boomers and the Escapee Xscapers.
Other things that most groups do in the area are:
Drive to Parker to the Desert Bar, it’s amazing! I drove with some other people last year and did not bring my dogs, but YES, you can bring your dogs, all seating is outside. I would have enjoyed stopping and walking the dogs somewhere along the drive there then having my dogs with me there and linger a while. There is music and it’s really fun. You need a designated driver! Saturday and Sunday only.
The Event is $Free. Because this is our first event! Donations for firewood will be greatly accepted.

Trudi
Hello Trudi! Congrats on the new trailer. How exciting! I love, love Heelers. I’ll be in the Tucson area for all of Feb and March, so let me know if you come back to southern AZ. Best to you and I hope our paths cross soon.
Is there a dog group of Rvers going to Quartsite in 2019?
